It goes without saying that when you have finally made the decision to embark on a journey to the wilds of Alaska, be it to hunt for Dall Sheep, Moose, Brown Bear, Caribou or to fish for "King" Salmon at our camp on the Nushagak River, the first step you should consider is who can I trust to take care of my safety and individual needs? What outfitter can I count on to deliver the level of service that will meet my expectations?
Alaska Premier Outfitters is committed to helping you make the right choice. There is no limit to the caring and organization that is put forth with every experience we deliver in the field or on the water. We understand that just getting to a remote area in Alaska can be a challenge in itself. That is why we feel that when you arrive at our doorstep, the hard part is over. From that point on, you are in our care.
We firmly believe that the level of service an outfitter provides depends largely on what he has learned from past experiences. Residing in the same area that we personally hunt and fish gives us a distinct advantage over the other outfitters that live in the lower states and operate in Alaska for only a couple months each year. We know what it takes to pull off a successful trip to Alaska and are eager to share our experiences with you.

Our area
Perhaps in terms of vastness & wildlife abundance the Wood-Tickchik State Park is one of the premier hunting units in Alaska. It represents almost half of the acreage in the entire Alaska State Park System. The region is bound by the Alaska Peninsula to the south, the Kuskokwim River drainage to the North, and the Aleutian Range and Chigmit Mountains to the east. Located in southwest Alaska 30 miles north of Dillingham, this is the home of every sportsman's dream. The park's approximately 1.6 million acres are quite diverse, made up of 12 lakes over 1,000 acres, rivers ranging up to 45 miles in length, mountains exceeding 5,000 feet in elevation, and expansive lowlands. The park is known for its wilderness scenery and its rich fish and wildlife resources.
